Henry J. Wilke


    Henry J. Wilke,  age 90, formerly of
1002 Harmon Ave,   Hamilton
passed away in Schroder Manor Fri-
day June 21st, 1991 at 10:30 p.m. He
was born in Cincinnati,  the son of
Henry and Catharine (Wuebbeler)
Wilke. He was a member of St. Julie
Billiart Catholic Church; Schuler Ave-
nue Chapel: also a member of the K
of C No. 968, and the St. Vincent De-
Paul Society. He was the owner oper-
ator of Wilke's Cafe for a number of
years, retiring in 1962. In 1921 in
Hamilton,  he was married to Philom-
ena Holstein.
He is survived by his wife Philome-
na of Hamilton,  four sons Donald
(Marilyn) Wilke of Cincinnati,  Clifford
(Lois) Wilke of Downers Grove Ill-
inois,  Henry "Rusty" (Barbara) Wilke
of Park Forest Illinois and Roger
(Ramona) Wilke of Columbus, Ohio;
three daughters,  Mrs. Frederick
(Manetta) Becker of Hamilton,  Mrs.
Robert (Evelyn) Meiner of Hamilton,
Mrs. Gene (Rita) Shalor of Fairfield,
one sister,  Rose Wilke of Hamilton, a
devoted niece,  Sister Marie Grace
Nichting F.S.P  of Hamilton,  33
granchildren,  35 great grandchil-
dren. He was predecesed in death by
his parents and one brother,  Robert.
Prayers will be held at the Brown
Dawson Funeral Home Tuesday at
9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Chris-
tian Burial in St. Julie Billiart-Schuler
Avenue Chapel,  at 10 a.m.  Burial
will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral
home Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
