Paul E. Thiebaut Sr. May 11, 1919 - May 26, 2008 Passed away in Redwood City on May 26, 2008. Dearly beloved husband of Maria Thiebaut and the late Geraldine Thiebaut. Devoted father of Renee Thiebaut of San Mateo, Paul Thiebaut Jr. of Redwood City and the late Robert Thiebaut. Cherished grandfather of Paul III, Christine, Michael of Redwood City and Michelle of Austin, TX. Dear brother of Louis Thiebaut of San Francisco and the late Frank Thiebaut and Robert Thiebaut. Also survived by his daughter-in-law Karen Thiebaut of Austin, TX; and nephew, Robert Thiebaut of Roswell, GA.

A native of San Francisco, and 60 year resident of San Mateo. Paul was a graduate of Heald Business College of San Francisco.

He was a longtime professional baseball scout for the Baltimore Orioles and the Toronto Blue Jays. Paul was a longtime manager for the Baltimore Orioles farm team of the Peninsula Winter League and the San Mateo Blues.

He had a 25 year career as a U.S. postal carrier in San Mateo. Friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, 4pm and attend a Vigil Service at 7pm at SNEIDER & SULLIVAN & O'CONNELL'S FUNERAL HOME, 977 So. El Camino Real in San Mateo.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, 10:30am at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 28th and Hacienda Streets, San Mateo.
