Memorial services will be held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, Hankamer Chapel, for former Colt .45 and Astro Ron Davis , who died Saturday.

Davis , 50, played for the Colt .45s in their first season in 1962, then with the Astros from 1966-68. He also played for the Pirates and Cardinals and appeared in two games with St. Louis in the 1968 World Series.

Davis had lived in Houston for 30 years.
