Eric W. Zepke 1933-2010
WILBRAHAM Eric Walter Zepke, 76, died January 5, 2010 at Life Care Center
of Wilbraham. Born in Springfield to the late Eric M. and Florence (Arcand)
Zepke, he was a lifelong area resident.
Eric served in the Army during the Korean War and prior to his enlistment,
he had pitched in minor league baseball for the Giants farm team. He was
the owner of Metal Craft Manufacturing.
He leaves a daughter, Karen Falk and a grandson, Hunter Jurkovac both
of Oregon and three brothers: Robert Zepke of Hampden, Roger Zepke of
Wilbraham and Ralph Zepke and his partner, Joanne Cirillo of East Longmeadow.
Private internment will be held at St. Michael Cemetery. Nowak Funeral
and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
The family would like to thank Dr. Higby and the staff at Baystate Mary
Lane in Ware and the staff at Life Care Center of Wilbraham for the care
given to Eric.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American
Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham MA 01701.
