Paul Zaby, of Stockton, CA, age 92, passed away on February 12, 2009. He was born on June 5, 1916 in Dallas, Texas. His family moved to Los Angeles where he was raised and educated, and later moved to Stockton. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.

He was employed as a supervisor for Diamond Walnut in Stockton for 37 years before retiring.

Paul was an avid sports fan, and played professional baseball in the minor leagues in Las Vegas, Nevada for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine Zaby of Stockton; a daughter, Paula Zaby of Sacramento; and six siblings.

A private graveside service will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi, under the direction of Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home.
