Harry G. Wilson passed away Sunday, March 28, 2010, at Chandler Hall Hospice. He was 84.

Harry was the son of the late Harry G. and Christina S. Wilson Sr.

He was born and raised in Doylestown, before moving to Fairless Hills in 1980.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, who proudly served his country during World War II.

He played baseball for the Trenton Giants in the 1950s as a relief pitcher. Harry owned and operated H&H Pool Co. in Lambertville, N.J., for many years.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 0210, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 175, Doylestown Maennerchor Society and the Doylestown Moose Lodge 1284.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Saalinger Wilson; a daughter, Sue Williams (George); a son, Charles Wilson; stepchildren, Joyce Daniel, Carol Buchanan and Stewart Saalinger; grandchildren, Shannon Geld (Lou), Shawn Williams (Carrie), Matthew Wilson (Velly), Mark Keehn (Amanda) and Sara Wilson; and his great-grandchildren, Jack, Lex, Olivia, Charles, Heather and Brandon.

He also will be missed by his sister-in-law, Barbara Wilson; a nephew, Oliver Wilson and a niece, Debbie Picciotti; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Harry was preceded in death by a brother, Oliver Wilson.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at a later date at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
