Jack Clifton Wadsworth
Sr., 82, passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet
Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to
the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the American Cancer Society.
Jack was born Sept. 21, 1925, in Fort Worth. He was a graduate of North
Side High School in 1943. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War
II. Jack played for a farm team for the Cincinnati Reds for three years.
He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1986. He was a
longtime member of North Fort Worth Baptist Church and North Texas Travel
Trailer Club.
Survivors: Wife of 61 years, Alice Wadsworth; daughters, Donna Sultemeier
and husband, James, Robin Sandusky and husband, David, Margaret Duncan
and husband, David; son, Jack Wadsworth Jr. and wife, Bobbie; grandchildren,
Jason Austin, Amanda, Max, and Molly Wadsworth, Karen, Kay and Tod Sandusky,
Randy, Andrew and Claire Duncan; sisters, Robbie Anisowicz and husband,
Al, Betty Lou Barr and husband, Jack; brother, Bob Wadsworth and wife,
Nelda.
