VANHOFF, Harold "Ole" (Age 84) Harold passed away on September 27, 2010 in Spokane, Washington. He was born on February 18, 1926 in Spokane, Washington to Ethel and Carl Vanhoff. He lived in Mica and graduated from Central Valley High School in 1944.

Harold played professional baseball for the Milwaukee Brewers Farm Team from 1945-1946. He also played in the Twilight League and Georgia's Builders in Spokane.

He worked for Early Dawn Dairy, Buchanan Chevrolet and then Skagg's Automotive for 38 years, retiring as the Paint Manager in 1987. He was an avid hunter, camper, snowmobiler and RVer, and was a snowbird to Arizona for many years.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Family Home Care Service; nurse, Michelle Britian; personal aide, Mary Carroll; caregiver, PJ Snow and the Emergency Room and ICU Staff at Holy Family Hospital.

Harold is survived by Marian, his wife of 47 years; son Brad and his wife, Leslie; daughter, Terri and her husband, Denny and Harold's cousin Bev Sherwood.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 12-8PM at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 11:00AM at Thornhill Valley Chapel.

A private interment will be held at Pines Cemetery.
