Windsor - Frank J. Tognotti, age 86, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2012. He was born in San Francisco on May 30, 1926, a son of Oscanio and Melania (Messei) Tognotti.

Frank is survived by two children, Gino (Suzy) Tognotti and Dina (Jeff) Taylor; grandchildren, Kali and Katie Tognotti and Erica and Stefany Taylor; step grandsons Justin and Nathan Taylor; his loving companion, Estelle Donovan; and a brother, Robert Tognotti.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Amato Tognotti.

Frank was Golf Marshall and a member of Sirs at the Windsor Golf club. In 1950, he was drafted by the Brooklyn Dodgers.

A Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1244 Saint Francis Road, Santa Rosa, with Fr. Thomas Diaz officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Special thanks to Friends House, and to Heartland Hospice for their care.
