Robert Stuart

Robert Stuart was born
to Harry and Charlene Stuart in California February 1929. He moved to
Langley, WA in 1946 and was 1 of 18 young men chosen from across the US
for a baseball team that played in Yankee stadium in 1948.
He went on to pitch with the former Seattle Rainiers Baseball team in
the early 50's. A shoulder injury ended his baseball career and he went
to work for the Seattle Engineering Dept. for 31 years. Bob coached Little
League for his sons for many years.
Bob traveled the world, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends
at the summer home he built on Lake Tapps.
Bob passed away on February 25th, 2009.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara, and their sons Greg (Pam)
and their 3 children, Kevin (Diane) and their 3 children and Ken (Dianne)
and their two children.
A Memorial Services will be held on March 7th, 3:00p.m. at Grace Baptist
Church in White Center, WA 10323 28th Ave SW.
