L.C.D.R, Robert (Bob) George STAGG US Naval Reserve Born 6-13-1921, in Spokane WA. Died 5-8-2008, in Seattle WA. Graduated from Queen Anne High school 1939.

A member of the Seattle Rainiers Baseball team from 1939 thru 1942 and 1945 & 46, Bob was the last surviving Rainier from the 1939 Pacific Coast League Championship Seattle Rainier team.

Bob joined the Navy in 1942, and became a pilot, and was active duty during WWII and the Korean war for a total of 27 years of satisfactory service.

As of 2005 Robert was a 50 year member of the Yancey Blalock Masonic Lodge, and past Master, also a member of the Seattle Valley Scottish Rite and Nile Temple Shriners, of which he belonged to the Nile Golf & Country Club. He enjoyed many years of golfing and was a member of the, over 70 all world left handers golf tour. Of which he traveled to many countries, to play. Robert was also a member of the Lake City Elks.

He is survived by his second wife Goldie M. Stagg, Son Rick Stagg and Daughter in law Robin Stagg, and Grandsons John and Mark Stagg. Memories to charities of your choice.

Per Roberts Request there will be no Services, but will be laid to rest at the Tahoma National Cemetery.
