Russell "Bud" G. Sherman, age 93, passed peacefully into God's hands on Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Longtime employee of North American Rockwell and retired from the State of Ohio. Veteran WWII U.S. Navy. Longtime member of Holy Spirit Parish. Avid baseball fan, played Professional Baseball for three years.
Preceded in death by parents Michael and Theresa Sherman, brothers Michael and Jack, sisters Marguerite, Jane Doris, Catherine and Theresa, great-grandson Rowan Michael.

Survived by loving wife of 61 years, Mary; children, Michael P. (Renee), Patrick J. (Jeanine), J. Matthew (Aileen), Mary (Jim) Cain and Teresa (David) MacCartney; 14 grandchildren; five great-grand-children; sister, Mary Jane Zeiger; brother, Joseph (Alice); sister-in-law, Helen Sherman; numerous nieces and nephews.

"There will never be another one like you, Dad."

Friends may call Monday 4-8 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL, 4019 E. LIVINGSTON AVE.

Prayer Service 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Church, 4383 E. Broad St.

Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.
