SAYE, Warren Warren Chalmers
Saye, age 82, died Tuesday, February 19, 2008. He was born in Collinsville,
AL, where he was an avid sportsman.
He played baseball at the University of Alabama, Auburn University, and
in the United States Navy. Warren also played baseball in Gladwater, TX
and ended his baseball career playing for the Milwaukee Braves.
He worked for Sheppard Construction and later found a career at Complete
Auto Transit where he was a terminal manage until he retired.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie Flood Saye. He is survived
by his son, Robert Saye and wife Kathy Saye of Columbia, TN; daughter,
Stephanie Benfield and her husband Jeff Benfield of Bogart, GA; grandchildren,
Bobby Saye, Tim Saye, and Coy Benfield; brother, Hoyle Saye of Loganville,
GA; and sister, Marcelle Saye of Attalla, AL.
The visitation will be at the funeral home tonight from 5-8pm. The funeral
mass will be at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Friday at 11am. Interment
Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lowndes & McLane Funeral Home, Tucker,
GA. in charge of arrangements. 770-491-3021.
