Pat was born November
15th, 1922 in Tacoma, Washington, and went peacefully, on Christmas day,
Dec. 25th, 2008, in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after
his illness with Alzheimer's.
He was 86 years old. He graduated from Lincoln High in 1941. Pat went
on to play pro and semi-pro baseball for many different teams including
the Tacoma Tigers in 1942.
He served his country during WWII in the US Air Force. He married the
love of his life, had 3 children, and worked and retired from Nalley's
Fine Foods, Inc.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anne Rooney of almost 55 years!, his
daughters Debby (Gary) Arneberg, Gail (Gary) Cicelski, son Greg (Lori)
Rooney; 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and
nephews.
He was loved by everyone who knew him, including Jesus! A special thanks
to the Silhouette Adult Family care home and hospice for taking care of
him during his last days.
Memorial services will be Saturday January 3rd, 2009 at 12:00 pm at Real
Life Family Center Church, 17708 28th Ave. East, Spanaway, WA.
