From KOM Flash Report by John Hall: Age 81, late of Lockport, Friday February 1, 2008 at Salem Village Nursing Home. Born in Joliet, life long area resident. Retired from the
U.S. Post Office in Joliet after 33 years of service. Member of the U.S.
Postal Service Union #305. A U.S. Korean Army Veteran. Preceded in death by his parents, Llewellyn and Frances (Packritz); a brother, Robert (Dorothy); and a sister, Jean (John) Minzing. He is survived by his loving family, his wife of 52 years, Margaret (Oxley); his sons, Robin "Boone", Randy "Bate" and Rusty all of Lockport; his daughters, Lynn "Cookie" (Joseph) Krumlinde of Lockport, and Linda "Cha-Cha" (Dave Nichols) Temper of Crest Hill; 10 grandchildren; and a brother, John (Virginia) of Bonita Springs, FL. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Per William's request cremation rite were accorded. There will be no services.
