Mr. William Terry Robertson,
Sr., 74, of Dadeville, Alabama, formerly of Lanett, Alabama, died at Bethany
House, Auburn, Alabama, Sunday, January 31, 2010.
Mr. Robertson was born in Langdale, Alabama, Thursday, June 6, 1935. Mr.
Robertson was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church, Dadeville, Alabama.
His parents were the late Vena Mae Lauderdale Robertson and M. V. Robertson.

urvivors: Wife, Ann Brannon Robertson of Dadeville, Alabama; Daughters,
Sherri (Wayne) Bennett of Huntsville, Texas, Christy (Mark) Sessions of
Auburn, Alabama; Son, Terry (Denise) Robertson, Jr. of Dadeville, Alabama;
10 Grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
The funeral service will be 3:00 PM EST, Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at
McCarthy Funeral Home. Reverend Stephen Kinn, Reverend Bill Meadows, and
Reverend Philip Sessions will be officiating.
The family will greet friends Tuesday evening, February 2, 2010 from 6:00
PM EST until 8:00 PM EST at McCarthy Funeral Home.
Mr. Robertson graduated from Valley High School in 1953 and attended Opelika
Tech. He played several years in minor league baseball. Mr. Robertson
worked at West Point Pepperell, Uniroyal and retired from Ampex. He loved
fishing golfing and gardening.
A special thanks is extended by Mr. Robertson's to Bethany House, East
Alabama Hospice, Dr. Braydon Johnson and Leann Knowles. The gift of flowers
is respectfully declined and the family asks that contributions be made
