Bobert K. Ramberg

Bob was born in his
parent's home November 3, 1935 in Everett, Washington. He passed away
with family at his side December 3, 2008 in Everett.
Bob attended Fobes Grade School and was a 1953 graduate of Snohomish High
School. He attended Everett Junior College before playing minor league
baseball in Texas for the Pittsburg Pirates Baseball Club.
Returning to Washington he earned a BA from Western Washington State College
in 1960 and a Masters from Seattle University in 1976. Bob was a teacher
for 39 years including Snohomish High School and AIM High. He was also
the Director of Traffic Safety. He was very proud of coaching Panther
baseball for 17 years!
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie; his parents, Andy and
Lil; and his brother, Gary.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Diane; children, Jon (Maria), Brian
(Linda), and Mark (Christa); grandchildren, Tim, Becca, Hayden, Lillian,
and Justus Ramberg; and his sister, Gloria (Lang) Wilson.
His family was most important to him and he loved actively sharing in
all of their lives. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Bob and Diane recently celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary. He was
a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Bob was an enthusiastic sports fan and could debate over baseball statistics
He was also an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing, clam digging and crabbing.

A memorial service and reception will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday,
December 10, 2008, at Zion Lutheran Church in Snohomish, WA.
Remembrances may be made to Children's Hospital in Seattle.
