James "Skip" Pope

James "Skip" Pope, age 78, passed away February 6, 2009 in Irvine, California.

He was born May 16, 1930 in Akron, graduated from East High School and retired from Ford Motor in 1988.

Jim played baseball with the Boston Braves and the Cleveland Indians. He was inducted into the East High School Hall of Fame and Summit County Hall of Fame.

Cremation has taken place.
