Phil passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010 at the age of 83. He is predeceased by his wife, Lela and survived by his son, Philip (Jane); daughter, Leslee (Paul) Robach; grandchildren, Eric & Leigh Robach; and special friend Donna Vasseur.

As a young man, Phil served in the Army and played professional baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals organization. Phil joined the Rochester Police Department in 1950 & retired as a Captain in 1985.

After his retirement from the Rochester Police Dept, he pursued his love of thoroughbred horses, which he bred & successfully raced throughout New York State.

The family will receive friends to share memories TODAY from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME (495 N. Winton Rd., between Browncroft & Humboldt).

Phil's Funeral Mass will be held on FRIDAY at 10 AM at St. Margaret Mary's church (401 Rogers Pkwy, 14617).

Interment White Haven Memorial Park.
