William Penn "Bill" McIntyre

WILLIAM (BILL) PENN
MCINTYRE, beloved father and devoted husband, passed away peacefully June12,
2008.
Bill was born and raised in Detroit and was a graduate of the University
of Michigan. He was a Navy pilot in WWII as well as a minor league baseball
player with the Boston Red Sox.
Bill worked for Tuboscope in the line pipe division for over 35 years
and was a honorary lifetime member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Bill is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sonia McIntyre and his four
children, Kathleen McPherson of Vancouver, British Columbia; William (BG)
McIntyre of Houston; R. Kyle McIntyre of Houston and Barbara McIntyre
of Boulder Colorado. He is also survived by grandchildren as well as nephews
and nieces.
Bill was a compassionate caring man who was deeply loved by his family
and friends and he will be missed dearly.
