Thomas Albert McCrone,
79, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 15th.
He was born on June 11, 1933 in Sanford, Florida to Clarence and Alberta
Thomas grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from Andrew Jackson
High School. He then played professional baseball with the Pittsburg Pirates
before serving 2 years in the Navy.
Thomas spent the next 39 years at State Farm Insurance, retired in 1993.
He met his wife, Yvonne, at State Farm and were married for 55 years.
He enjoyed playing golf, traveling and being with his daughters, Kimberly
McCrone Addington and Rebecca Robyn McCrone.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Yvonne McCrone; his daughters Kim and
Becky; his granddaughters Lyndsey and Shannon Addington; his brother Ronald
Wayne McCrone and other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his brothers Clarence McCrone, Jr. and John
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, February 23 at Blessed
Sacrament Catholic Church, 720 12th St Clermont, FL at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the charity closest
to your heart.
