Albert Marchesano - Titusville - Albert Marchesano, 86, a Titusville resident for over 40 years, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 22, 2010.

Beloved by his family, friends and community, he served his country with courage, honor and dignity.

Answering the call of his country, he enlisted in the US Navy at the age of 17 and served aboard the USS Atlanta and USS Boston.

He was a veteran of eight major WW II sea campaigns including Guadalcanal and Midway.

Albert was a patriot, a real estate developer in Titusville, a semi professional baseball player and a member of the Titusville Elks Lodge #2113.

His family includes his sister and brother-in-law, Marian and Charles Hatzai; a sister-in-law, Elaine Marchesano; Nieces and nephews, Michael Marchesano, Carol (Charlie ) Izzo, Barbara (Henry) Connell, Gary (Kim) Marchesano, Leslie Giammanco, Charles Hatzai, Kathy Mottle, Timothy (Darlene) Kennedy and many great-nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Teresa's Catholic Church, 203 Ojibway Avenue, Titusville. US Navy Military Honors will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of St. Francis, 1250 B Grumman Place, Titusville, FL 32780.
