LeGrand F. Malany, 90, passed away Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008 while on his way to play bridge. Visitation will be held Tuesday (today), Oct. 28, 2008 12-2 p.m. at the Funeral Home followed by a Memorial Service at 2 p.m.

He was an avid sportsman who played basketball, golf, and bowling. He also played pro baseball with the St. Louis Browns and loved to play bridge and poker.

He and his loving wife Marion had just celebrated their seventieth wedding anniversary in August. They retired to Palm Coast fifteen years ago from Glenview, Ill.

He is survived by his wife, Marion; his son, Lee (Barb) of Springfield, Ill.; daughters, Colleen Malany Braid of Villa Grove, Co., Margaret Malany of Las Vegas, Nev. and Maralee Malany of Naples, Fla.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
