H. P. Lynk
Ed played baseball with the Red Sox organization, was a New York City police officer, and was a proud and decorated United States Marine Corps aviator who served in Korea and Vietnam. In his retirement he enjoyed actively participating in local and state politics. Of all that can be said about him the most important is that he was devoted to and loved his family and many friends.
Ed is survived
by his wife Donna M. Lynk, his son Edward P. Lynk, his daughter Beth A.
Lynk, his daughters-in-law Laura Lynk and Cindy Lynk, his grandchildren
Aaron Lynk, Edward P. Lynk, Betsy Lynk, and Aubrey Campbell, his great-granddaughter
Cora Campbell, his brothers Daniel Lynk and Harry Lynk, his nephews and
nieces Susan McCann, Mary Ann Sexton, Harry Lynk, David Lynk, Diane Ray,
Danny Lynk, Lori Ann Lynk, and other family members Arthur, Renee, and
wishes to thank the Virginia Beach Police department, Fire and Rescue
Squad 14, and Virginia Beach General Hospital emergency room doctors and
staff for their professionalism and compassion on November 4, 2011.
