Charles W. Lindquist
of Rosemont Visitation for Charles W. Lindquist, 80, will be from 3 to
9 p.m., with a memorial service at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at Grove
Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Road (three blocks south of
Biesterfield Road), Elk Grove Village.
Born in Chicago, he died at the Rainbow Hospice Facility in Park Ridge.
Mr. Lindquist was a veteran, a union carpenter for Local 58 and official
battling practice pitcher for the Chicago Cubs from 1962 to 1964.
He was the father of Charles W. Lindquist Jr., John (Denise), Kevin (Marianne),
Karen (David) Stout and Kristine (Chris) Porter; brother of the late Florence
Ferdinand and Vernon Lindquist; and loving grandpa of 13 grandchildren.
