Edward L. LeClair,
67, of 5295 Lee Lane, DeSoto, Mo., formerly of Quincy, died at 9:40 a.m.
Monday, June 23, 2008, in his home.
He was born Sept. 21, 1940, in Cranston, R.I., a son of Deus and Laura
Cormier LeClair. On Sept. 24, 1982 he married Rae Martindale in Quincy.
She survives.
He was a retired car salesman for Bonham Chrysler in Bonham, Texas. He
also played professional baseball for the San Francisco Giants organization.
Survivors in addition to his wife include three sons, Mark Bentley LeClair
and his wife, Belinda, of Ham Lake, Minn., Todd Christopher LeClair and
his wife, Beth, of Ingleside, and Brad Deus LeClair of Quincy; a stepson,
Jeff Claus and his wife, Gidget, of Quincy; 14 grandchildren; and four
sisters, Deloris Dionne of Warwick, R.I., Rochelle Kittilla of Cranston,
Rita Manco of Warwick and Bernadette "Bunny" Taul and her husband,
Marvin, of Cranston.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Deus Oliver LeClair.
SERVICES: 3 p.m. Saturday in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home. VISITATION:
1 to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home MEMORIALS: In lieu
of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to VITAS Hospice, 1807
