Ed Lampe passed away
on December 5, 2012 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 75.
Born and raised in San Francisco and a long time Novato resident before
he moved to Petaluma.
Devoted father of Al, Ed (Lisa), Caroline Purtell, and Joe (Teresa). Loving
grandfather of Michael, Sean, Brianna, Tim, Joe, Nancy, Joseph, Nicholas,
Survived by former spouse Nancy and siblings Vic (Jane), and Terry Caselton
(Mike), and many nieces and nephews.
Besides being involved with his grandkids, his Catholic Faith was an important
part of his life. His passions were volunteering and traveling.
He was an avid baseball fan, known as "Southpaw Ed." A graduate
from Sacred Heart High School, going on to play professional baseball
before starting his own business, Pacific States Plywood, in Marin County.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at
St. Sebastian's Catholic Church, 373 Bon Air Road, Kentfield-Greenbrae,
CA. A Rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m. prior to the Mass.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to COTS of Petaluma
or St Vincent de Paul Conference at any parish in his memory.
