Lee Lady, 94, from Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Willows Springs Assisted Living in Spring Hill, TN. Lee was born May 10, 1918 in Beach Grove, Indiana the son of the late James and Maggie (Hall) Lady.

Lee graduated from Beech Grove High School class of 1937 and played professional and semi-pro baseball both before and after serving in the United States Army during World War II. He was an inspector at International Harvester/Navistar in Indianapolis, Indiana where he retired in 1982 after 37 years of service. Lee will be remembered by his family and friends as a loving, honest, generous, and caring man.

Lee is survived by his daughter, Vickie Carrillo (Lou); son, Nick Lady (Billie Jo); grandchildren, Victor Lee Pedraza, Tony Pedraza (Stephanie), Scot Lady, Brock Lady, great-grandchildren, Anna, A.J. and Sophia Pedraza; sisters-in-laws, Pat Henderson (John), Linda Stidd (Reese), Donna Henderson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lee was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Wanda Joy (Huntsinger) Lady and grandson, Lou Carrillo.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel , 9606 E. Washington St. with funeral services Monday, August 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Bill Henderson presiding.
