WRIGHTSVILLE David John Keller, 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 2, 2012, at his home. David was the husband of Betty Charmaine (Silar) Keller of Wrightsville.

David and Betty celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on April 28, 2012.

Born August 23, 1930, in Wrightsville, he was the son of the late David F. and Hazel I. (Fisher) Keller.

He was a 1948 Graduate of Wrightsville High School, a Life Member of the Yorkana Rod and Gun Club, a member of Hellam VFW Post #7045, the Red Lion VFW Post #0543 and the Columbia Owls.

David enjoyed hunting, fishing and professional wrestling, but his real passion was baseball.

He played for the St. Louis Cardinals farm team and was a life-long New York Yankees fan.

In addition to his loving wife Betty, David is survived by sons, Tim Keller and his wife, Alita Keller and Jeffrey Keller, Sr., all of Wrightsville, Joey Keller and his wife, Cynthia Keller of Landisville and Jason Keller and his companion, Tiana Kinard of Yoe; daughters, Terri Keller and her husband, Matthew Baum of Lewes, Del., and Julie Meyers and her husband, Warren "Pete" Meyers of Windsor; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Weaver of Wrightsville.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday December 7, 2012 at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, Inc. 700 Hellam St., Wrightsville, with the Rev Albert R. Horst, Pastor of Zion United Methodist Church of East Prospect, officiating.

A visitation will be held on Friday from 10 a.m. till the time of the service at the funeral home.

Full military rites will be conducted by the York County Veterans Honor Guard at the funeral home following the memorial service.
