Larry F. Kaminski,
88, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away, at his home April 14, 2010. A
Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 21, at the
All Saints' Parish-St. Joseph-St. Benedict Catholic Church, 801 Vermont
Street, Kansas City, KS 66101-3756.
Friends may call 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.
Entombment: Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 38th & State Ave., KCKS.
Larry was born to Steve and Frances Kaminski in Kansas City, Kansas. He
was formerly a Real Estate Agent and an appraiser until his retirement.
He was a member of St. Joseph-St. Benedict Catholic Church. He was a 1940
graduate of Wyandotte High School and attended Kansas State University.
In his younger years he was a minor league baseball player for the New
York Yankees. Larry served in the United States Army during WWII.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy (1980) &
wife Rita (1999), infant daughter Doris Ann (1947), son Bob (1998), granddaughter
Shannon(1983) and brother Steve (1989).
He is survived by his 4 sons: Larry Kaminski (wife Janice), KCKS, Bill
Kaminski (wife Julie), KCKS, Paul Kaminski, Harlem, GA, and Tim Kaminski
(wife Cindy), Basehor, KS; 2 daughters: Janet Morffi (husband Henry),
KCKS, and Judy Wagner (husband Tim), Liberty, MO; 11 grandchildren and
5 great grandchildren.
