Jordan, W. F. "Bud"
Willeford
Frank "BUD" Jordan passed away on July 24, 2009. He was born
April 30, 1930 in Texon, Reagan County, TX, where he earned his Eagle
Scout award.
He played professional baseball for one year before joining the Air Force.
In his 4 years at Lackland AFB, he worked in statistics and pitched on
the AF baseball team.
Mr. Jordan graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He retired
from Goodyear with 31 years of service in sales and management.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Martha Manning Jordan; brother
C.J. Jordan and wife Dorothy of Tulsa, OK; son Billy Jordan and wife Denise
of Plano, TX; daughters Becky Wolhart and husband Steve of The Woodlands,
TX, and Fran Blevins and husband Brian of Houston, TX; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside Services and Military Rites will be Private at Dallas/Ft. Worth
National Cemetery.
