James Joseph Jones

James Joseph Jones, 69, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2007. He was born March 4,1938 in Tacoma, Washington. James career included employment with Carnation Dairy as a milkman, Sid Eland Beverage Distributing and Teamsters Local 174. He was a graduate of Franklin High School in Seattle, Washington.

James was an avid baseball fan. In the late 1950s he was a pitcher for the Seattle Rainers. He was also an exceptional golfer and fisherman. He was involved in the Christmas For Kids Community fund-raiser in Wellton as Santa Claus. His extraordinary efforts brought the spirit of Christmas into the lives of many children.

James is survived by his wife, Judy A. Jones, of Wellton, Ariz.; sons, Bradley Jones, of Kent, Wash., and Doug (Sharon) Jones, of Renton, Wash.; daughter, Jeanette (John) Jones-Campagna, of Breckenridge, Colo.; sister, Helen (Kirk) Eimer, of McCall, Idaho; granddaughters, Meghan and Sarah Jones, of Renton, Wash; grandson, Tanner Aliff, of Breckenridge, Colo.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Jones; mother Jeanette Jones; and brother, Richard Jones.
