Lifelong Resident of Fremont Entered into rest on December 3, 2008 at the age of 82. Loving husband of 59 years to Billie Jacinto of Fremont.

Beloved father to Terry Jacinto of Sacramento and Karen Jacinto of Fremont, Michael Jacinto and Mary Robertson of Danville, Denise Jacinto of Fremont, Sandra and John Winslow of VA, and Suzanne Jacinto of Fremont. Treasured grandfather to Michael, Patricia and Joel, Alexis, Ryan, Mandee, Jessica, Kyle, Nicole, and Kelly. Proud great-grandfather to Tyler, Bailey, Benjamin, Brianna, Alexa, Brandon, and Dylen. Cherished brother to Betty and Jim Fairchild of AZ.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Clara Jacinto, and by his brother, Hubert Jacinto.

Born August 8, 1926 in Niles, Jess graduated from Washington High School in 1944 and then served as a board member of the Washington High School Alumni Foundation.

Jess proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during WWII and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 7906.

A lifelong fan of the game of baseball, Jess played professionally from 1947-1953 in the West Texas-New Mexico League, served as an assistant baseball coach at Washington High School for 17 years, and faithfully cheered on his favorite team, the Oakland A's.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 1pm at Bridges Community Church, 505 Driscoll Road, Fremont, 94539.
