Harvey H. Howard

On Sunday, May 16th
Harvey H. Howard left his loving family to be with our Lord and Savior.
He was born in Bloomingdale, Michigan on March 10th, 1918. At the age
of two, his family moved to Huntington Park, California.
He met his future Wife, June Lee, in a cooking class! After 63 years of
marriage, she preceeded him in death.
For many years he was a catcher in the Minor Leagues, ending his career
with the St. Louis Cardinals. Then he joined the Post Office, and retired
after 30 years.
We would like to thank all our family and friends for their prayers, calls,
visits and all other acts of kindness given to us during this difficult
Harvey leaves behind four children, Patricia (Dr. Lowell )Branson, Joyce
(Gary) Bergthold, Edward (Joanne) Howard, and Roger (Cathy) Howard, ten
grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
A special thank you to the staff and members of the Paradise Valley Community
Church. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Church Building
A Memorial Service will be held at Paradise Valley Community Church, 4242
E. Greenway at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 22nd, 2010.
