GROH, Edward H. 87,
of Seminole, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2008, at home with his loving
family at his side.
He grew up in Madison, NJ and worked as a teacher for 28 years in the
Ramsey NJ public school system. Ed taught physical education & health
as well as being a successful high school soccer coach. He also played
professional baseball in the New York Giants farm system.
He was an Army Air Force veteran of WWII. He is survived by his loving
wife of 64 years, Rita M. Groh; son, Edward C. Groh; daughter, Beth (and
Steven) Pier; and two grandchildren, Eric and Amanda Pier.
A Graveside Service with military honors will be presented at 10:45 am
on Friday, March 21, at Bay Pines National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
memorial donations may be made to The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast.
