GOLD David L., passed
away November 21, 2010 at age 82. He was a former owner of Raquette Lake
Boys Camp, Raquette Lake, NY, and a retired executive with Nantucket Industries
of New York City.
David was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived for many years in Englewood,
Norwood and Mahwah.
After graduating from Suffield Academy he attended Amherst College, where
he starred as the quarterback on the football team and also played on
the basketball and baseball teams.
He played minor league baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals organization
and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Estelle (Fishenfeld) Gold,
devoted children Flynn Neilson (Robert) of Valencia, CA, Keith Gold (Alice)
of Tenafly, NJ, Kenneth Gold (Linda) of Bloomfield Hills, MI, and Jeffery
Gold (Greg) of Decatur, GA, and adoring grandchildren, Joshua and Samantha
Neilson; Alex and Ben Gold; Daniel, Matthew and
Lauren Gold; and Gerald Whitlock.
Services were held at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ, November 24.

David will be deeply missed by the entire Gold family and all who were
fortunate enough to know him.
