Alfred C. Faccio

Alfred C. Faccio 91, a Native Tucsonan, born November 18, 1917, passed
away August 10, 2008.
Preceded in death by his parents, Mercedes Munoz and Antonio Munoz; brothers,
Frank, Henry and Clay Faccio. Survived by his ex-wife, Grace Faccio; daughter,
Elva Flores; son, Al Faccio, Jr,; grandson, Richard M. Flores. He is also
survived by two sisters, Nellie Pain and Lena Lopez; brother, Ernie Faccio
(Barbara).
Alfred served his Country during World War II, was employed for numerous
years by the City Parks and Recreation. In his younger years he played
professional baseball and is registered in the Arizona Baseball Hall of
Fame.
There will be a memorial Mass on Monday, August 18, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at
Santa Cruz Catholic Church, 1220 S. 6th Ave.
Interment will follow at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S. Park Ave. "May
