and Anna Estock and was a 1942 graduate of Harding High School.
George was a professional baseball player for 14 years and continued to

1988, he was inducted into the Delaware Sports Hall of Fame.
After 28 years of service, George retired from the DuPont Company as a
supervisor at the Edgemoor location. Family and friends were extremely
important to George. He enjoyed spending time at the Jersey shore fishing,

watching all sports activities. George enjoyed coaching baseball players
from Little League to High School. He was respected and looked up to as
a mentor.
