Wilber H. "Wib" Estermyer Jr., 77, of Chippewa Township, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at his residence.

Born January 2, 1934, in Beaver Falls, a son of the late Wilber H. Sr. and Ann Estermyer, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired steel salesman for Cuyahoga Steel and Standard Steel. He was a member of CUP Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Chippewa Township, and the Beaver Falls American Legion. A member of the Beaver County Sports Hall of Fame, he coached Blackhawk American Legion baseball and Chippewa Indians football.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Alison "Joan" Estermyer, Chippewa Township; a son, Jeffrey Alan Estermyer, Chippewa Township; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda Joan and Ronald Sullivan, Chippewa Township; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Bob Lewis, White Township; a grandson, Brandon John Sullivan; a brother-in-law, Alan Kolades, and a sister-in-law, Judy Estermyer.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward C. Estermyer, and a sister, Lillian Ann Kolades.

Friends will be received today from noon until the time of services at 1:30 p.m. in the LUTTON CHIPPEWA FUNERAL HOME, 117 Blackhawk Road, www.luttonfuneralhome.com. The Rev. Scott Graham will officiate.

Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Township.

Members of the Veterans Honor Guard will meet at the cemetery at 2:15 p.m. to conduct full military honors.
