DURFEE, ERWIN JAMES "DURF", On Friday, November 14, 2008 age 94. Beloved husband of the late Adeline G. Durfee. Father of James E. Durfee, Timothy G. Durfee and Janice M. Durfee. Son of the late Franklin J. Durfee and
Elizabeth M. Durfee. Brother of the late Frank J. Durfee, Chester Durfee, Georgy Corcoran and Marion D. Becker. Grandfather of James L. Durfee, Ryan A. Durfee, Kelli M. Durfee and Sandra M. Durfee.

Born in New Orleans of French decent. Attended Jesuit High School, played minor league baseball. Married in 1940 for 65 years. Moved to Orlando, Florida in 1946. Raised his family with Adeline, worked as a salesman in the crate and box industry in Louisiana and Florida and retired at the age of 80.

Had many friends in the agricultural community all across the country. Enjoyed golf and all sports, Mardi Gras and Disney. Loved being with family and friends. Returned to New Orleans in 1994 with Adeline and Janice to live out his years.

Funeral Mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 4121 St. Elizabeth Drive,
Kenner, LA, Friday, November 21, 2008 at 1PM. Visitation Friday in Church from 11:30AM until 1PM. Arrangements: Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home.
