Edward F. Doolan

Edward F. Doolan, born February 8, 1919, passed away March 1, 2009.

Cherished husband for 54 years of Muriel; brother to Agnes (Rick Gouin), John (pre-deceased), brother in law of Gary and Nema Drake; father to Kathleen (Craig Humphreys) Thomas and Kerry (Kenny Eidemiller); grandfather of Christopher, Sarah, Patrick and Erin; great grandfather to Jordan and friend to everyone.

He attended St Andrews Grammar School and graduated from John MuirTech High in '37 where he excelled i n baseball and football.

After a short stint in the minor leagues with The St. Louis Cardinals he enlisted in the Navy (Seabees) where he served during World War II. After the war he worked for Pacific Telephone for 42 years as a lineman and repairman.

In retirement he loved watching the Cubs, gardening, painting and spending time with family and friends.

Ed will be missed greatly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Services will be held Friday, March 6th 11:30 am, at St.Christopher's Catholic Church in West Covina.
