DiCola, Charles "Chick,"
86, long time resident of Northvale, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, March
22, 2011 in Pinehurst, NC where he and wife, Helen (of over 60 years)
retired to in 1992.
Chick was the loving father of Chuck (wife Ulrike) of Hauppage, NY., Jimmy
(wife Rosanne) of Old Tappan, NJ, Patty of Tonawanda, NY and Rich (wife
Dianne) of Stony Point, NY.
He was the brother of Rose Frederick of Northvale, NJ and Sis Contini
Louisville, KY and was predeceased by his brother Vincent. Loving grandfather
of James, Stephen, Tommy, Yolanda and Roseanne.
Chick was a WWII veteran who served in D-Day and played minor league pro-baseball.
He loved hunting, fishing and especially golf, and had a successful carpentry
business prior to his retirement.
A mass to celebrate his life will be on held on Sat., April 9th at 12
PM at St. Anthony's, Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ.
