Henry Colarelli Jr., lifelong Rockland County resident died September 11, 2008 after a short illness. Born April 29, 1927 in Nyack, NY.

Attended Nyack High School. After excelling in baseball and football, he was drafted by the Brooklyn Dodgers as a pitcher. He played AAA baseball from 1945 to 1949 until leaving to work as a carpenter in the
construction trades.

In 1960 he graduated CCNY with a degree in teaching and worked as a vocational instructor until eventually rising to the position of Supervisor of Vocational Education at the Children's Psychiatric Division of Rockland State Hospital where he retired from in 1984. A Memorial Service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Nyack, Saturday September 20, 2008 at 10 AM.
