Wollaston Edward Anton
Christiansen, of Wollaston and Houghs Neck passed away at home on July
3, 2008 at age 83. Born in Quincy, he was raised and educated in Hough's
Neck.
A professional engineer, he was starting as a left-handed pitcher for
the Red Sox, when he was drafted into the Army during WWII. Ed was a member
of the DAV, a Cub Scout Master for Pack 14 and an accordionist.
The beloved husband of Mary Raphael Christiansen, he was predeceased by
his parents, Andrew Julius and Mary Arnold Christiansen and his brothers
Ronnie and Harry. His love continues on in the lives of his children and
their families, Glen and Pamela Christiansen of GA, Brian Christiansen
of Wollaston Linda and Walter O'Brien of VT and Dean and Jane Christiansen
of Wilmington.
A Funeral Service will be conducted in the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home
74 Elm St. (off Hancock St.) Quincy Center on Tuesday, July 8 at 11:00
a.m. A visiting hour will be held prior to the service starting at 9:30
a.m.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Burial will follow in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.
