K. Byron Chorlton

K. Byron Chorlton,
age 80, passed away on March 17th of pneumonia, surrounded by his loving
family.
K graduated from Roosevelt High School and was selected to the All-American
baseball team, received a double scholarship to the University of Washington,
and was selected to the All-Century Husky Baseball team.
He played in the Pacific Coast League for the Seattle Rainiers, and the
Vancouver Capilanos.
K served as President of the 101 Club at the WAC where his Rainier's jersey
is displayed at Torchy's. K's performance skills were legendary and he
used them to support many worthy causes.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Diane, his brother Jim, and
his parents James and Ffolliott.
K is survived by his four children and their spouses, Kristine and Chris
Nicholls, Karen and Jim Skoog, Marit and Michael Bucy, and Erik and Margaret
Chorlton; ten grandchildren; and his sister Ffolliott "Fluff"
LeCoque.
He was blessed to find love a second time with Gloria Ehrig and cherished
his time with her and her wonderful family.
A celebration of his magical life will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal
Church in Medina, Friday, March 27th, at 1:00.
