CHIR JOHN P.
Of Munhall, on January 8, 2011, age 90.

Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Fetsko) Chir; father of Gemma (Randy) Frankenberry, John (Michelle) Chir and Eugene Chir; brother of the late Michael Chir and Anne Cundra; grandfather of Jonelle (Matt) Bovee, Alayna Frankenberry, Arynn Frankenberry and Alexandra Chir.

John was a retired supervisor for U.S. Steel Duquesne Works, a veteran of the Army serving during WWII and an original member of the Duquesne Zemps Baseball Team and played in the Pittsburgh Pirates minor league baseball organization.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association.
