Clinton Charles "Chuck" Carter II

CARTER Clinton Charles "Chuck" Carter II, age 42, passed away June 7 in a tragic accident along with his loving wife, Susan. Chuck was a devoted and loving father, husband, son and brother.

After graduating from Temple Christian in 1984, he played Minor League Baseball for the Baltimore Orioles for a couple of years. He has received an AA Degree from FCCJ and would have received his BA degree from JU at the end of this year. He was employed by the Duval County School Board for the last 20 years.

Chuck is survived by his children, Charlie and Caroline Carter; his mother Louise Carter; his sister and brother-in-law Beth and Dave Farrington; and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Lakewood United Methodist Church on Thursday, June 11th from 6-8 PM and funeral services will be held at Southside United Methodist Church on Friday, June 12th at 10 AM.
