CESARE (CECE) CARLUCCI
Age 90, resident of Wildomar for 22 years, passed away 09/17/2008 at his
home in Wildomar due to cancer. Cece was born 12/30/1917 in Cudahy, CA.
He was a Pacific Coast League Baseball Umpire for 15 years, owner of Mr.
Ump Custom Made Baseball Umpire Equipment and retired from the Armored
Transport.
He served as a Sgt. in the U.S. Army for 4 years. Cece was inducted in
the Hall of Fame Pacific Coast League in 2003 as the first umpire inductee.
He was a member of the Association of Professional Baseball Players of
America and St. Francis of Rome Catholic Church.
Cece is survived by his wife, Lucille Carlucci, Wildomar, CA; daughter,
Lynette Hayde, Newport Beach; son, John Carlucci, Foothill Ranch: 2 sisters,
Florence Engler, Huntington Beach and Aneta MacDonald, Irvine.
Memorial Service on Thurs., 09/25/08, 1:15pm at St. Frances of Rome Catholic
Church in Wildomar. Private burial at Riverside National Cemetery.

Association of Professional Ball Players of America, 1820 West Orangewood
