BURBAGE, SR., Leroy Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of February 27, 2008, Leroy L. Bum Burbage, Sr., 75, husband of Margaret Collins Cheek. Residence, Pelion, SC.

The relatives and friends of Mr. & Mrs. Leroy L. Burbage are invited to attend the funeral service of the former in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, Saturday, March 1, 2008, at three o'clock. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park.

Friends may call at Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel on Saturday one hour prior to the service. Mr. Burbage was born on June 23, 1932 in Charleston, SC, the son of Louis Nathan Burbage and Flora Boggs Burbage.

He was a retired owner of Burbage White Auto Store, Barnwell, SC. He coached on Hampton Park Playground in Charleston, SC; graduated from Rivers High School in Charleston, SC and played minor league baseball for the Pittsburg Pirates from 1951-1959.

He was a member of Barnwell First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Margaret C. Cheek, and the mother of his children, Imogene Colson Burbage of Barnwell, SC, Leroy Lefar Roy Burbage, Jr. of Charleston, SC, Gregory (Beth) Louis Burbage of Barnwell, SC, Elizabeth Marie (Tracy) Edmonds of Camarillo, CA; sister, Lois Burbage (Douglas) Bedgood of Largo, FL; grandchildren: Jordan Burbage of Clemson, SC; Spencer Caroline, Olivia Grace, Annalise and Wren Burbage of Barnwell, SC, Bradley and Raven Edmonds of Camarillo, CA.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Ramona Burbage Johnson and brother, Louis Nathan Burbage, Jr. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice or Hospice of Tri-County, 166 Stoneridge Drive, Suite 100, Columbia, SC 29210 or the Shriner's Childrens Hospital for Crippled Children, 950 W Faris Rd, Greenville, SC 29605
