Jackie Lee On Thursday, December 9, 2010, Jackie Lee Breeden , 72, of
Berlin and formerly of Baltimore, died at Coastal Hospice at the Lake
in Salisbury. Born in Manassas, VA, he was the son of the late Kenneth
Lee Breeden and Ethel Irene Breeden. "Jack" retired in 2000
from Reliable Liquors in Baltimore as a warehouseman.
In the 1950's he played baseball for the Dodgers minor league team in
Montana. Following his baseball career, he was drafted in the US Army
during the Cuban Conflict. He participated as an adult in fast pitch softball
and coaching his son's baseball teams.
He truly enjoyed all types of sports, especially football and the Ravens,
baseball and the Orioles.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Miriam Anne Vittello Breeden;
a daughter, Jacqueline Teresa McKenzie and her husband, Shaun of Berlin;
a son, Kenneth Michael Breeden of Baltimore; and 3 grandchildren, Shaun,
Sarah and Brandon McKenzie, all of Berlin.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in January in Baltimore.
